The Youth Environment Award, sponsored by ACT was presented by Bruce Marshall to the very deserving Help Community Task Force from Dunoon!
Bruce said; 'I was incredibly impressed by the young people of Argyll & Bute in the way they carried out and organised the A&B Youth Awards ceremony in Helensburgh, what a credit to Argyll & Bute and the young people in particular’.
Help’s Community Taskforce is a group of young people who learn skills, gain work experience and qualifications, while making environmental improvements within the local community. All the projects they have taken on have been chosen to help make improvements in the local area, and support elderly residents, while giving the young people a sense of ownership and pride in their home town.
